Getting Started

1. Unbox your WalkieTalk

   Unpack your cordless WalkieTalk phone, set up the charging cradle, and plug the cradle into power.

2. Power it on

   Set the phone on the charging cradle and it should turn on automatically - or, press and hold the red power button on the upper right of the keypad.

3. Look for the green dot

   Your phone should boot up to a screen with the date, time, and your new phone number.

   A green dot next to your phone number means you're ready to go!

4. Set up parental controls

   If you haven't already, log into your ChatterBox account to set approved contacts and parental controls.

   Open ChatterBox Account

5. Make a test call

   Place a call to (and from!) an approved contact to confirm inbound and outbound calling work.

You're all set!

Congrats - you're ready to chat.

Note: Some internet service providers may require us to adjust the settings on your phone. If calls aren't working, please contact our support team.

Wi-Fi Setup

You no longer need to add your Wi-Fi information to your ChatterBox account: simply configure it yourself by following the steps below.

1. Turn on your WalkieTalk phone by holding the power button with the phone handset and power logo on the upper right of the keypad.

2. Wait for the screen to show the date and time.

3. Press the upper left Menu soft button.

4. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Gear Icon in the center of the screen, then press the round button in the middle of the arrow keys.

5. Select Wi-Fi settings.

6. Use the arrow buttons to select Wi-Fi Network and wait for the phone to scan for networks.

7. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.

8. Press the right soft button Connect.

9. Use the keypad to enter your Wi-Fi password.

10. Press the upper left soft button Connect.

Your phone should now be connected to Wi-Fi!

Once you see a green dot next to your phone number on the main screen, you can start making calls.

We set up and tested your phone before it shipped, but it may take a few minutes to connect with the ChatterBox servers after your first power-on.
